WHERE IS THE FOCUS OF YOUR MINDSET

What we concentrate or bring to the forefront is what the mind will focus on. There is a constant battle with our thoughts. To believe or not to believe. To have faith or not to have faith. What is a girl to do!

Mindset is your collection of thoughts and beliefs that shape your thought habits.

Experts estimate that the mind thinks between 60,000 – 80,000 thoughts a day. That’s an average of 2500 – 3,300 thoughts per hour. Have you ever taken the time to investigate what type of thought runs through your mind? If you paid attention, you would realize most of them are useless, unimportant thoughts passing through at high speeds. Makes you think if our thoughts are not beneficial thoughts what are we spending most of our thoughts on. These are words that we repeat constantly, comments I make, repeating what was heard, questions and answers. Thoughts come in through the 5 senses that we form some type of opinion. These words, thoughts do not care if based on truths or lies. They become part of our conscious and subconscious patterns. These thoughts never stop, it only slows down when we sleep.

Our mindset has a major connection to our attitude and belief to the world and our attitude and belief in ourselves.

Attitude definition is a settled way of thinking or feeling about someone or something, typically one that is reflected in a person's behavior.

Belief is defined as a state or habit of mind in which trust or confidence is placed in some person or thing.

Both our attitudes and belief are settled out of the mind and can have lasting effects on every aspect of our lives. The thoughts of our mind can be a floodgate of mental noise detracting us from what needs to be focused. This mental noise can be quite tiring and exhausting exceptionally when you are worried or anxious.

When we get in that state, we can become drained, depressed, and disheartened. Ask yourself if that is how you were created to think by your creator (mine is GOD)?

If your answer is no, then it is time to move our thoughts to a kingdom mindset. Kingdom mindset is one based on love, peace, joy, and interest in helping others. GOD tells us Philippians 4:8 tell us to things are true, honest, just, and pure, etc. We must change our thoughts and patterns so that we are not thinking negatively or causing unnecessary disruption. If we don’t begin to think the way, GOD intended it can have a gigantic impact on our identity and relationships.

Changing negative mindset, it is recommended work be performed in this area:

Inner Healing – Understand the negative patterns and their roots and replace them with positive thoughts

Energy Cleansing – Trapped negative emotions have an impact on our attitude and behavior, be it physical, mental, or spiritual. Don’t give way to sickness because you have these poor, bad emotions that cause you to spin out of control.

Drive Purpose with Clarity – We all have a purpose normally birthed out of our passion. Having the ability to tame our thoughts by watching out for triggers helps us to stay focus on the things that need our attention

What’s your best next step?
